Cider Days October 22-23

Ross Farm Museum and Muwin Estate Wines are partnering to give visitors another reason to come to New Ross this October: Cider Days! A weekend of activities October 22 and 23, focused on the centuries old craft of cider making, but with a twist: they want the public to participate in the creation of ‘The Peoples Cider’.

During the week leading up to Cider Days and the weekend, people are encouraged to harvest their old apple trees and bring the apples in bushels to Ross Farm Museum in exchange for a membership to the Peoples Cider, to be pressed and crafted to cider at Bulwarks.

On Saturday and Sunday, Ross Farm museum will have its antique cider press on exhibition and host activities for learning about heritage variety apples, orchard maintenance, and the cooperage industry.
