Wanda Broome certification senior fitness instructor\, through the Canadian Centre for Activity and Aging (CCAA). \nOffering classes at New Ross Consolidated School (NRCS) starting \nMonday April 1st to May 27th from 9 am – 10 am in the gym\, (no class on April 22 or May 20) \nAlso holding classes at the New Ross Family Resource Centre (NRFRC) downstairs in our community room. Starting Wednesday April 3rd to May 29th from 10 am – 11 am \n~ Cost: $3.00 drop in fee\, this covers room rental and Wanda’s fee. \nYou will also need to wear sneakers\, comfortable clothing\, dress in layers\, and bring your water. The practice allows the mind and body to restore and heal) \nALL LEVELS are welcome. \nJoin instructor Tammy Turple \nTuesday evenings at New Ross Family Resource Centre downstairs in our community room class time: 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm\, but you are encouraged to come early to get comfortable for the class. \nClasses start: Tuesday February 12th\, 2019 and run every 2nd week for 8 classes. \nCost: $80.00 \nWhat to bring: Yoga mat\, blanket\, pillow\, water bottle and any other additional supports for comfort such as a bolster or small pillow to support underneath your lower back or knees. \nDeadline to register is: Thursday February 7th\, by calling NRFRC @ 902 689 2414 \nIs it time to give yourself a warm “peaceful pause” to reset\, restore\, and relax? \nDid you know that 1 hour of Yoga Nidra is equal to 4 hours of sleep? Yoga Nidra can help with reducing anxiety and depression\, healing emotional pain and trauma\, relieving chronic pain\, decreasing stress\, relaxing and restoring the body and mind. The class will start with some gentle movement and stretching\, that leads in to the Nidra practice\, where you will find a comfortable position\, lying on your back with a blanket and pillow.
