DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to be in our new office in the Learning Centre at the Ross Farm. We now have the opportunity to invite the public to our information sessions at the Hearth Room. Join us on April 27th\, we will be holding a session on “Ash Baskets”. Years ago these baskets were used in the home and on the farm. With modern times they become almost obsolete\, but with a resurgence of this skill the baskets are coming back. \nJoin Cameron Broome as he explains the constructing of ash baskets\, the techniques used to harvest the ash\, split and dry and then weave the strips into a basket. This will be an informative and interesting evening and we hope you can join us.
