DESCRIPTION:This month at Baby Group we are talking about feeding older babies\, with a focus on baby-led weaning and Canada’s Food guide! \nKatie Cox\, our Dietetic Intern\, will be answering your questions on baby-led weaning for 6 mth olds such as “What is it? Is it safe? How can I do it at home?” and more! \nThis event will happen on Thurs June 13th from 10:30-11:30am.  A handout will be given for families to take home and finger foods will be offered for both parents and babies to try! SUMMARY:Canada Day Community Celebration!
DESCRIPTION:Come one\, come all and celebrate Canada Day with us at the New Ross Fair Grounds.  \nThe afternoon will start off with a Canada Day theme parade with children’s\, teens and adult categories at 1:30pm \nThe Opening Ceremony will begin at 2:00pm with opening remarks and judging of the Parade contestants.  The fun continues with children’s games\, prizes\, face painting\, pony rides and a petting zoo.  For the adults we will  have a beer & wine garden and an array of Bands from 2:30-10:00pm then ending the day’s events with amazing FX fireworks at 10:15pm \nWant something to eat\, we got you covered; you will have the choice of a chicken BBQ\, French Fries or hot cheese poutine\, Hot dogs & hamburgers.  While enjoying the bands\, take time to visit the onsite Farmers Market and Flea Market or play a few games of BINGO in the recreation Hall at the Fair Grounds.
