Join us on April 27th\, we will be holding a session on “Ash Baskets”. Years ago these baskets were used in the home and on the farm. With modern times they become almost obsolete\, but with a resurgence of this skill the baskets are coming back. \nJoin Cameron Broome as he explains the constructing of ash baskets\, the techniques used to harvest the ash\, split and dry and then weave the strips into a basket. We would like to meet every second Sunday afternoon\, starting at 2:00pm and discover many trails in New Ross and surrounding areas\, with Cape Split as our goal for the end of summer. \n1st walk Sunday April 17th\, meet at 350 Leville Road\, please park by the barn\, bring a water bottle and be prepared to walk 5-6kms\, with medium difficulty. Dog friendly on lead. \n2nd walk Sunday May 1st\, meet at 585 Glengary Road\, be prepared to walk 5km\, with medium difficulty.
