DESCRIPTION:Winter session starting on Tuesday Jan 5th\, for 8 weeks\, with our dance instructor Jaeda Alders-Pearl.  We are indeed lucky to have an instructor with her expertise and dance caliber\, she has attended the National Ballet School of Canada\, Royal Winnipeg Ballet\, and Ballet Jorgen and his prestigious Joffrey School in NYC! \nClasses include: Creative Movement (ages 3-5)\, Jazz 1 &  2 (ages 6+)\, Contemporary /Jazz  (ages 11+)\, Competitive classes can be added. \nClasses run from 2:30 – 6:00pm \nThere will be COVID-19 protocol in place and a limit of 8 children per class. \nCall NRFRC to register or with any questions you may have at 902-689-2414.

You will go up the steps on the left of the building.\nYou will be required to wear a mask into the centre\, upon entry you will sanitize your hands. We will take names and phone #’s each week of participants for contact tracing.\n\n\nAfter you are in the class and on your mat you can remove your mask for the class.\nWe will limit the class size to 8 people to meet the required 6 foot social distancing\, so sign up early.\n\n\nWhat to bring: Wear comfortable clothes\, a water bottle & yoga mat\, you will also be responsible for your props for the class. Through this 10 -week course\, learn how to balance right effort and effortlessness by integrating the physical practice of yoga with a focus on the breath and the recognition of the profound stillness within each of us.\nMona has been practicing and studying yoga since 1996 and teaching it since 1997. She offers accessible practices for students from beginner to more experienced.

I am happy to say that due to the support of the New Ross Family Resource Centre I will be able to offer some one on one counselling support every two weeks in New Ross\, starting in October. Second Story offers support through a trauma informed approach\, and I have worked with people dealing with anxiety\, depression\, trauma\, and grief and loss.
