SUMMARY:Poplar Ridge Scramble (5km) Walk/Run
DESCRIPTION:Poplar Ridge 5k Scramble \n\n\n\n\nThe New Ross Trails Society is hosting a first ever 5k Run/Walk on the Old Annapolis Road.  The route climbs up to Poplar Ridge and then back again to the start area behind Hughes Diesel Repair.  Much of the trail is well packed and easy going\, but there are a few spots with rougher tread and wet areas.    Dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear.  The run will be timed\, but no one will be taking it too seriously. SUMMARY:Mobility Assisted Visit to Ruby's Spot
DESCRIPTION:Ruby’s Spot Mobility Day \n\n\n\n\nRuby’s Spot on Porcupine Hill has quickly become a treasured garden and rest area perched on the hill overlooking New Ross.  The New Ross Trails Society understands that not everyone who may like to visit Ruby’s Spot is able to make it there on their own.  So they’ve organized a ‘mobility day’.  From the Murphy’s property on the Forties Road\, a motorized ‘ferry’ will transport people to and from the overlook from 1:00 to 3:00. \n\n\n\n\nSunday \n\n\nSeptember 29 \n\n\n\n\n1:00-3:00pm \n\n\nFree \n\n\n\n\nAll Ages (under 16 must be accompanied by an adult) \n\n\n\n\nMeet and park at 180 Forties Road \n\n\n\n\nHosted by the New Ross Trails Society \n\n\n\n\nDrop-in\, no registration required \n\n\n\n\n  \n
