DESCRIPTION:In the spring of 1817 Daniel McKay\, became the first blacksmith in Sherbrooke (New Ross).  The blacksmith shop\, with its collection of tools played an important role in this settlement.  This weekend come to Ross Farm Museum and learn why the balcksmith was such an important part of the community and why they remained so well into the 20th century.
