She will be breaking down the process with her visual step-by-step guide to show you how to go\, start to finish\, turning hides into leather. As you go through the day and information\, you will have some examples of hides in various stages\, and the tips and tricks that will help you in your hide tanning journey. She will also touch base on other types of hides\, and some similarities and differences she has come across between deer\, rabbit\, cow\, coyote\, and bear hides as she works with them. You will also go over the tools required\, and some startup items\, as well as have an opportunity to stretch a hide yourself as you go into the afternoon. This is a reduced-cost workshop\, as it is the summer\, there are burn bans\, which means the hands-on portion is a little less than our winter workshops. \nWhat you need to bring: We will be inside\, please feel free to bring paper and pen. We will have some extras.
