YOGA NIDRA CLASS

YOGA NIDRA CLASS (Yoga Nidra is the practice of Yogic Sleep or deep rest. The practice allows the mind and body to restore and heal)
ALL LEVELS are welcome.

Tuesday evenings at New Ross Family Resource Centre downstairs in our community room class time: 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm, but you are encouraged to come early to get comfortable for the class.
Classes start: Tuesday February 12th, 2019 and run every 2nd week for 8 classes.
Cost: $80.00
What to bring: Yoga mat, blanket, pillow, water bottle and any other additional supports for comfort such as a bolster or small pillow to support underneath your lower back or knees.

Is it time to give yourself a warm “peaceful pause” to reset, restore, and relax?
Did you know that 1 hour of Yoga Nidra is equal to 4 hours of sleep? Yoga Nidra can help with reducing anxiety and depression, healing emotional pain and trauma, relieving chronic pain, decreasing stress, relaxing and restoring the body and mind. The class will start with some gentle movement and stretching, that leads in to the Nidra practice, where you will find a comfortable position, lying on your back with a blanket and pillow. All you need to do is let go, breathe and listen.
You will be guided through a detailed sleep mediation that will allow you to slip into a deep state of relaxation.
