Logging Demonstration

This weekend our interpreters will be demonstrating traditional logging. Come watch as they cut down a tree using an axe and crosscut saw, junk it up and yard it to the brow which was traditionally done using a team of horses or oxen.

3:00pm- 3:30pm

Stop and visit the intrepreters in Rosebank Cottage, where you will get to learn how to cook a traditional logging camp meal of baked beans and brown bread. While you’re inside, warm up and take the time to indulge your taste buds with a delicious sample.
