New Ross Community Fair Extended!

The New Ross Farmers Association has hosted the New Ross Community Fair, annually, on the third Friday and Saturday in August since 1944, starting during the war to raise money for the Red Cross.

This year the normal 2-day event has been extended to 3 days Thursday, Friday and Saturday Aug 20th-22nd and is filled with entertainment for all members of the family. You will find a little bit of everything including:

-Lighthorse Activities

-Steer/Ox/Horse pulls

-Tug of War

-Arm Wrestling

-Children’s Parade

-Chainsaw competition

-Evening Musical Entertainment

-Christmas Tree competition

-Handicraft Exhibits, 4-H Display, Flower show

-Dinners and Suppers
