Christmas Tree (cut, drag, tie) Competition

Part of New Ross’ history is cutting, tying, and dragging of Christmas trees by hand. This competition involves cutting 2 trees with a bow saw, dragging and tying by hand. Everything is supplied except a knife.

Saturday, August 6th, 2016 starting at 5pm at the New Ross Fair Grounds.

STARTING June 8th, taking first 10 people who want to compete.

Prize money: 1st place is $100, 2nd place is $60, 3rd place is $40.

Competition is in memory of Donnie Seffern and Maurice Russell
