COMMUNITY MEETING – New Ross Community Care Centre

Over the last two years, many of you may have heard snippets of information about the New Ross Community Care Centre (NRCCC) project to create affordable housing units in New Ross. The NRCCC Board is committed to the goal of providing the ability, through appropriate housing and care, to allow individuals of all ages to remain in the community of New Ross. It seems like it’s been one step forward, two-steps back, as the NRCCC team navigates the maze of rules and logistics required to bring this project to life.

The NRCCC Board welcomes you to a Community Meeting, where we can bring you up-to-date on the project, but more importantly, where we can begin the process of gathering your feedback and input to create a plan that the community can stand behind.

Please join us for coffee and conversation, hear what we’re up to, and offer your ideas.

LOCATION: ROSS FARM LEARNING CENTRE TIME: 7 – 8:30 PM DATE: TUESDAY, MARCH 3 (SNOW DATE – MONDAY, MARCH 9)

Agenda includes introduction of project team, scope of the project to date, vision for the future, opportunity to ask questions, etc.

As people move through their lives, their houses may change, but the feeling of security that home brings is a constant for most. Home is the place where they belong, the place where they are most comfortable, and the place where they feel safe. It seems odd then, to move someone to a new community during this, often, vulnerable stage of life. The NRCCC vision is to be inclusive to all citizens that may require affordable housing.
