Home Support Exercise Program-Coordinator
June 16, 2015 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 pm
The Home Support Exercise program is a wonderful project aimed at seniors to help them keep fit and foster their ability to stay in their own homes. We do this by partnering a volunteer with a participant, to review 10 simple exercises that build the participants mental and physical capabilities. We will train the volunteer who will visit the participant a few times per month for 4 months to help them perform their exercises and monitor their progress.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, participant or are interested in learning more about the program, please call, Wanda Broome, at the New Ross Family Resource Centre (902) 689-2414, Tuesday mornings 9-10:00am.
