Seniors Navigator Project

Open to the community, please join us at this meeting, sponsored by the Rural Communities Foundation of Nova Scotia, to learn how you can participate in the Seniors Navigator Project.

This project is about:

• “Senior Navigators”: Senior Peer Support Volunteers improving rural Nova Scotia Seniors access to supports and services.
• Training provided for Senior Navigators in order to provide up-to-date information on programs and services available to rural NS seniors.
• Opportunities for professional development specific to identified priority areas (e.g. elder abuse, seniors and mental health, NS 211 information and referral services).
