Wood Chip Hats at Ross Farm

Making hats by braiding natural fibers is considered an art by some, but at one time, it was simply a fact of life. This weekend staff will demonstrate hat-making using strips of wood known as “sheens” stripped from freshly gathered yellow-birch logs.
