Join us at the Forties Community Centre on Thursday February 11th at 11am for soup, chowder, rolls and biscuits and dessert. There will be a bake table and miscellaneous table available. Proceeds are for the St. Augustine Church. Adults $7.00, Children 6-12 years: $3.00, Under 5 is free.
In the early 1800s the only source of light would have been by candle. Many families would have had to make their own candles or go with no light at all. Come join the staff in making dipped candles just like the settlers would have done years ago.
