The New Ross Refugee Welcome Group will be hosting a soup, biscuit or roll, homemade cookie, tea/coffee lunch in the Hearth Room at Ross Farm Museum. Eat in or take out. $8.00/person, 11:30am - 1:00pm on three Friday's in February (Feb. 12, 19, and 26th)
Making hats by braiding natural fibers is considered an art by some, but at one time, it was simply a fact of life. This weekend staff will demonstrate hat-making using strips of wood known as "sheens" stripped from freshly gathered yellow-birch logs.
Shawna is going to be available at the New Ross Fitness Centre on Monday evenings starting in the New Year, from 7-8pm to show you how to use the equipment properly.

The Chester Basin-New Ross-Chester Lions Clubs provide a hot meal to seniors every month at the Chester Basin Lions Club. The luncheon is held on the first Tuesday of each month at 12:00pm. Doors open at 11:30am with entertainment provided. Cost is $8.00 per person, pre-registration is required. Please call the VON office at 902-624-8031.
