Can't think of anything special to do on Thanksgiving Day? Bring the family out for some good old fashioned fun. Enjoy demonstrations of open-hearth cooking, coopering and sauerkraut making. Take part in a fun auction for everyone in the afternoon at 2:00 pm.
Homemade jams, jellies and pickles, Annapolis Valley apples, fresh vegetables, Krispi Kraut sauerkraut and delicious country baked goods, will be available from different vendors. Step back in time and enjoy a free sample of head cheese, made from a time-honored Lunenburg County recipe.
Join Early Childhood & Parent Educator, Ms. Karen for fun, songs, stories, craft and a nutritious snack on Monday & Thursday mornings, from 9:30-11:30 for children birth to school age.

The Forties garden Club is holding an Open House at the Forties Community Centre on Tuesday, October 11th at 7:30 pm. Wayne Ward will be providing information on growing Day Lilies. Everyone is invited to attend.
