Making hats by braiding natural fibers is considered an art by some, but at one time, it was simply a fact of life. This weekend staff will demonstrate hat-making using strips of wood known as "sheens" stripped from freshly gathered yellow-birch logs.

The Chester Basin-New Ross-Chester Lions Clubs provide a hot meal to seniors every month at the Chester Basin Lions Club. The luncheon is held on the first Tuesday of each month at 12:00pm.
