    The New Ross Refugee Welcome Group will be hosting a soup, biscuit or roll, homemade cookie, tea/coffee lunch in the Hearth Room at Ross Farm Museum. Eat in or take out. $8.00/person, 11:30am - 1:00pm on three Friday's in February (Feb. 12, 19, and 26th)

    Making hats by braiding natural fibers is considered an art by some, but at one time, it was simply a fact of life. This weekend staff will demonstrate hat-making using strips of wood known as "sheens" stripped from freshly gathered yellow-birch logs.
