This weekend there will be demonstrations in sheep shearing, natural dying, and spinning wool. Learn about the importance of sheep to early settlers and about the work involved to produce yarn and how woolen yarn was used to make material for clothing necessary for the cold winter days.
As part of the 200th Anniversary celebrations, the Regional Development Society will be hosting this event at the Bandstand on May 22nd at 2pm.
