Trail Art Project

An exciting opportunity is on the horizon!

The Municipality of Chester is currently seeking proposals for public art pieces that will be permanent attractions along prominent sections of recreational trails in the Municipality, including the Chester Connection and Aspotogan trail systems and a yet to be determined trail in the
community of New Ross. Art installations will be strategically located at access points to our various communities. Proposed artwork will act as an engaging point of connection, inviting trail users to leave the trail and explore local communities. Installations should be themed around local community characteristics, heritage, and natural history. This project also provides opportunities to showcase local artists while encouraging trail use and making new connections between trail users and art.
