What’s Happening in October

Fall has certainly put on a beautiful display of color and the fresh crisp air is making it lovely to be outside exploring trails and having mini staycations. New Ross continues to offer some alternatives, with the now “new norm”.

Ross Farm had a successful live pumpkin harvest, but if coming for a visit make sure to prebook your time slot ! The Forties Community Centre will be holding its annual TURKEY DINNER with all the trimmings, Oct 11th and an Oktoberfest Roast Pork Dinner Oct 24th, as well as 2 virtual Variety Shows, Oct 17 and 24th. The Legion will be hosting a Take Out Maple Glazed Pork Tenderloin Supper Oct 16th 3-5pm (pre order! by Oct 13th). The Resource Centre continues to have many resources available to the community, including afterschool program, baby group, playgroup, yoga, blood collection and counseling services for women. A drive thru Flu Clinic will be offered by Dr Barb O’Neil, Oct 30th at the Fairgrounds. There continues to be so much to see and do, can’t wait to see you soon!
