    Join Christy Ann Conlin for a reading from her new novel, 'The Memento', a literary ghost story, published by Doubleday/Penguin Random House. Christy Ann will share her love of ghost stories, discuss the haunted embroidery in the novel, and how growing up in rural Nova Scotia and participating in 4-H shaped her literary career.

    This weekend there will be demonstrations in sheep shearing, natural dying, and spinning wool. Learn about the importance of sheep to early settlers and about the work involved to produce yarn and how woolen yarn was used to make material for clothing necessary for the cold winter days.
