The Parade Committee is currently working on the organization of the parade for the 200th Anniversary of New Ross which will take place, Saturday, August 6, 2016 @ 1:00 p.m. . We are hoping New Ross organizations, businesses or families will participate in this event. More information regarding details will be posted as we get closer to the event. In the meantime, get the creativity pumping & start planning your float.

A few things to keep in mind when planning your entry:
-Entries should be made to reflect the history of New Ross between the years of 1816 to the late 1920's.
-Entries should be entertaining to a family audience.
-Insurance is mandatory for animals and vehicles in the parade.
-Floats may be sponsored by community groups, service clubs, organizations, businesses, families, antique vehicles, walking groups or costumed characters depicting our history.
We would like this parade to be an event to be remembered long after the 200th has passed.
