Social Evening & Silent Auction

The Silent Auction is an annual event hosted by the New Ross Regional Development Society in support of projects in the community of New Ross.

Pre- COVID it was an enjoyable evening with friends and neighbours, wonderful food (Peasant’s Pantry) and refreshments (Muwin Estates & Jost Winery), free for everyone to enjoy, with a large variety of auction items on display for viewing.  Items have included:

Pair of tickets to Chester Playhouse

Many fashion accessories – purses, scarves, jewelry, etc.

Local artisan creations

Draws for a White Point Beach Resort get-away (a prize worth over $500.00), and a Salon Basket worth over $250.00, plus many more surprises and fabulous door prizes to be won.

For the last 2 years, it was a virtual Silent Auction where people could do their Christmas shopping in the comfort of their own home! It was a bit smaller, but still great finds to be had!
