Rug hooking is both an art and a craft, where rugs are made by pulling loops of yarn or fabric through a base such as burlap.  The loops are pulled through the backing material by using a small hook.  Join the staff at Rosebank Cottage, at the Ross Farm Museum, as they demonstrate this art.

This weekend the interpreters of Ross Farm Museum will be demonstrating how to make a wooden toboggan. This would be a great opportunity to grab your sled or toboggan and make use of their fabulous coasting hill.

Early in 2015 the Municipality of Chester will be hosting public meetings across the municipality discussing building healthy and strong communities.
