Silent Auction..a HUGE success

From the decorations, to the refreshments, to the items themselves, the Social Evening and Silent Auction, held at the Forties Community Centre, on Nov 6th, was considered a huge success by all who attended! Over 240 people attended the annual event which is hosted by the New Ross Regional Development Society in support of projects in the community of New Ross. The committee themselves deserve a resounding applause and thank you for all their hard work, in particular Susan Larder, Linda Hiltz, as well as Janet Larder, Colleen Veinot, Colette Gates and Joseph Crocker.
Also big thank you’s to Joseph & Julie Crocker and Peasants Pantry for the wonderful food,
Dominic & Clare Rivard and Muwin Wineries for the great Bulwark Cider, and Gina & Ron
Langevin for the special basket of Professional Beauty Products.

Lastly, we are so appreciative of everyone who donated items, as well as those who came out
and supported the event. It was a fantastic night, and a great kick-off to our annual New Ross Christmas Festival, Dec 4th-6th!
