Storytime on the Trail with Ms. Karen: FREE Meet at Lion’s Gate Park @ 10am, walk along the trail, stop for a story or two and have a healthy snack for the children. Mondays in July, 4/11/25 at 10am and Mondays in August 8/15/22 at 10am.
Monday, August 15th, 12:30pm – 3:30pm – Craft Time, for ages 8 – 12. We will be making various crafts such as coloring activities, paracord accessories, and making your own crayons. Location: New Ross Family Resource Centre Cost: FREE!

Looking for a fun way to stay active and social? Join us for indoor walking T-Th while other programming is happening. Please bring indoor shoes and water bottle. Tuesdays 6:00 – 8:00pm, Wednesdays 5:30 – 8:30pm, Thursdays 7-9pm $2 Drop-In Fee
New Ross Food Boxes: This program runs April – November and currently runs once per month. We are at full capacity (36 families) at this time. Wild Flower Arrangement Workshop with Susan Larder: FREE, AUGUST 17th, 2:00 – 4:00pm. All ages workshop (under 16, must be accompanied by an adult), each workshop will include education, wild flower assortment, and a vase. For this month, participants are asked to bring an assortment of cut flowers from their own gardens.
Join us at the NRCS school gym for a great night of badminton! We will have several nets set up so you can play casually or competitively if you prefer. No experience necessary, all ages welcome. Please bring Indoor sneakers, water bottles, comfortable clothes Tuesdays 6:00 – 8:00pm. All ages. $2 drop-in
Thursday, August 18th, 10:00am – 12:00pm – Self Care Thursday, for ages 8 - 12. We will be making our own face masks, body scrubs, and painting our nails. Location: NRFRC Cost: FREE!
Child Care is provided on Monday, Wednesday (including early dismissal days), and Fridays after school until parent pick up -- which is anytime before 6:00pm.
